Tab DJ: Balance left-right channels and volume of Chrome tabs

A $10 DJ cable can split and duplicate channels to send output of one input channel to speakers and one to headphones (for pre-listening). A DJ program such as Mixxx can be used in this set-up, or a tool for setting the left-right audio balance per-application (such as Sound Control).

These set-ups work well for local audio files, but for streaming music a web browser may be the only tool available. Tab DJ is a Chrome extension gives two simple controls for each tab:
